Dan was the first artist who was kind enough to let me colors his lines and turn them into prints to sell at conventions. We share a love of DC characters and his drawing style is one that I can easily relate to and work with. I owe a lot to Dan in helping me get to where I am today in work both in color and drawing..

The New Ghostbusters #1 page 16

One of the three pages I was able to color for the new series by Erik Burnham and Dan Schoiening! So happy to have played a small part to a new adventure. The original idea was to do it in black and white ala The Twilight Zone but as things go, color was the order at the end of the day.

As a note, Dan is the one who did the sky in the background.

I certainly hope I kept true to Luis’ style and made him and Dan proud. iss17_pg16_03_web

13 Ghosts: 2012

There are only twelve below as I did not work on the first of thirteen ghosts. The way Dan and I worked was that I would lay down the initial colors with shades and tints then Dan would add in any particular shading and highlights along with any necessary special effects.
